On September 25, 2013, the Clinton Global Initiative announced that Nomad Two Worlds and renowned fragrance house Firmenich have made a new joint commitment to the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).
Together, the two companies will develop and launch ten new Raw Spirit fragrances over the next two years. In the process, the companies will identify and work with Indigenous and marginalized communities in Haiti, the Amazon, Australia, and the U.S. to assist in the commercialization of novel ingredients and to help champion and showcase these ingredients to the consumer market.
“Nomad Two Worlds’ corporate dictate is to ensure that any partnership it enters into will provide valuable economic and social benefits to the community concerned,” said Russell James, Nomad Two Worlds founder and renowned fine art and fashion photographer. “We are proud to be aligned with the Clinton Global Initiative in this ‘Soulful Senses: Connecting Communities and Consumers’ commitment, and excited to work in collaboration with Firmenich, whose commitment to sustainable sourcing is inspiring.”
